i think you have answered your own question, i believe its on its way to Swanage, if thats the case its 33103, thats just been outshopped in BR Blue from Barrow Hill.

Its going to Swanage to cover for the other 33 thats at Eastleigh undergoing a bogie and PU overhaul

I believe 33103 is at the Swanage until the Autumn when it will return to BH for preperation to mainline operation.

33103 is owned by Cambrian Trains. A group of West Midlands based railwaymen. It was on long term hire to Fragonset, then FM, then Mainline Rail , then Nemesis Rail.

In place of the 4VEP we'll be having "DMU Drags" for the Norden - Harmans Cross shuttles during our Fourth Annual Beer Festival and Diesel Gala.
Before the Mods have apoplexy - see Gala details on the Galas Thread.

According to the August 2008 update of the locomotive owning group website, it states that the PU is being craned out so that the Main Gen can be taken off for overhaul.

Sounds like Power Unit is having work done to me

Good to see the work is progressing though, fantastic bit of kit and obviously well liked http://www.71a.co.uk/news.htm
