If anyone is out to see Bittern today she has just passed Ash heading towards Reading. On time bar a couple of minutes.

    Bang on time through Newbury.

Visited at Newbury Racecourse to see the watering process, then got back to Newbury station in time to see it pass through, look great in the sun. :)

Yes, both I and my tripod (for the video camera) were on the public side of the fence on the grass verge. I saw no one on the wrong side of the fence, and there were at least half a dozen other cars parked up at Crofton by the time Bittern arrived.

Steve when I clicked on the link to have a look at the picture, Spybot picked up a suspect malicious site called 'CasaleMedia', is this connected with you photo site?
    Did anyone else get it...
Just Googled for it, some people say its harmless, from a Canadian online advertising network and others say it's a nosy pest which is collecting marketing data from your PC.. :-k

    Hi

I don't run the site, just upload to it. The owners finance it through advertising.

As all the photos are screened before being allowed on it ensures that a high standard is maintained - it certainly has meant that my photography and technical skills have improved. Unfortunately, the downside is advertising, which can be annoying, but as you say, the software involved is harmless.

Hi Steve, I realise that the site is just an upload one like photobucket etc and therefore anything that happened was not of your doing.

I know the spot well - not far from where I live (and I pass through twice a day on the daily commute). There is a little country lane right next to the bend in the line there - a superb place for a spot of gricing. \:D/
