    Guys,

Decided to avoid the galas and mainline things that where going on last weekend and stick to some quieter days at Swanage and the SVR. Despite a bad weather forecast I did OK at Swanage, although the wind was a challenge. Manston has been turned back to face north (after our photocharter). The SVR was also very pleasant with both Manors in action. Not a bad weekend all round! A couple from each day are below with the rest on my website.

I'm surprised at you Matt. Two Bulleids in action at the West Somerset and you weren't there!

    Flabbergasted!

It was a close call I have to say! The coaches at the WSR put me off, Bulleids on choc/cream doesn't really do it for me.

It was a "one off" I shalln't make a haibt of choosing Western stuff over the might Southern machines!

Hey Matt - You got one of them!! ;-)

    Excellent photos as always Matt...

I think Bulleids with a rake of Bulleids behind them always come on top - Although I do like Chocolate and Cream and Maroon MK1 stock behind... Always a nice change..

Tongue in cheek, I have a couple of questions for you Matt?.

It is a struggle Chris, this work malarky gets right in the way!

As for my wife, she's the best wife in the world very supportive. She's even looking forward to a week at the NYMR where our cottage is 100 ft from the lineside! Granted she wasn't best pleased when three days of photocharters where advertised the same week were there! Who doesn't believe in conincidences....
