Great sound recording. What a beast! Looking forward to seeing down south more often and it is nice to have something so different. Hopefully one day West Coast will win the Torbay Express so we can see it on that.

No video posted yet, but here's a frame grab to be going on with, slightly cropped and lightened a little.

I've just posted my shot of Ollie at Didcot on YouTube, in response to Alberta's request. It's my first attempt to use 720p HD format and DivX encoding, so it will be interesting to see how it has come out.

Thanks chaps. Did you watch it in HD? Was it smooth? It seems stuttery to me, but then YouTube HD always does (not enough band-width from work?). I already know that it didn't de-interlace correctly.

Probably ought to take this off-line, since it's not actually about the tour itself, so please send me a PM. Ta.

Exceptional video Steamage.I was hopeing that someone would post the clip of Cromwell going through Didcot in the evening. This was probably the highlight of the return journey to Paddington, with even time being acheaved (start from Wantage Road to passing Goring) 15 miles in 15 minuates. Very good work by the West Coast crews and a well turned out loco by Mr Tighe and his team. The only disapointment for me was the poor shedule issued by Network Rail. If they could find something to halt progress they did it.I hope for something better next time, including getting to Cardiff with the train and not on a Bus!
