Sorry, I can't really disclose much. But, I do know we are just a few weeks away.

Has anybody got any news on 6201's overhaul as she's known to be in one piece at Tyseley and although is air braked and on DB's books she hasn't yet gone out on a test run.

6201 has not been registered with DBS since coming off the main line in 2012, what gives you the impression that she has been re-registered with them. I gather that it was stated at their 2015 AGM when asked, that they had no plans to go with DBS.

They could have changed their mind due to more recent developments.

Well, we are now into a new month and WCR are running again, have you any news on whether Lizzie is going to meet her deadlines for her forthcoming trips as you seem to have inside knowledge.

I'm booked on the trip from Windsor on the 21st. Getting a little edgy as to whether 6201 will make it in time.

Well that didn't happen and more cancellations in the proposed trips, when will someone come clean and tell us what is going on.

Have there been setbacks in Lizzie's overhaul? I see now that SD have no trips booked with her at all. Been so looking forward to travelling behind her again. Any insider news around?

This is what has been posted on the SD timings page for the 5th May trip:

"The rostered locomotive for this trip, 6201 Princess Elizabeth, has been undergoing a major overhaul. When Steam Dreams booked the locomotive for this trip, and other trips in our Spring Programme, the overhaul was expected to be finished by the end of 2015. However, we were contacted yesterday evening (25 April) by The 6201 Princess Elizabeth Locomotive Society to say that there have been complications which have further delayed the overhaul, and the locomotive will now not be ready in time for our trip."

So she appears to be some way off completion sadly.

Hey Mike. What's going on with 6201 since you are so reliably informed? I though you said it was only a few weeks away back in Feb.

They have had some hold backs but are currently raising funds to get the engine gauged properly At this point I'm just going by what the 6201 website says.

She was certainly outside at Tys this morning rather than undercover.
