    The work's there, but it's the maintenance and upkeep. If that was readily available 4VEP 3822 would still be in existence.

    Mainline running is the best solution for the EMUs; they can run at their full potential there as well.

    True. You could say the same for steam locos. But being realistic for a moment, how many EMUs are actually doing this? Why do you think this number is so small (or even zero)?
