Despite the less than wonderful weather you managed to get some good footage, thanks for sharing that.

By the way did we speak near Mytholmes Tunnel in the afternoon after the penultimate "up" had gone through?

If there are two days to go I'll always pick the wrong one. ](*,)

Very good shots! Impressively steady and well-framed, and lovely light in the first and last. Only two very small quibbles: it's a shame you didn't do all your zooming back in one go in the first shot (I know how tricky some camera zoom controls can be, though) and the tender-first shot wasn't nearly as interesting as the three chimney first shots.

I'm very impressed with the HD image quality. First time I've used "fmt=22" on YouTube and it makes a huge difference. What was your work-flow for rendering and up-loading that clip? What software and formats did you use to render it? Also, what camcorder do you use?

I know what you are suggesting with the zoom issue on the first shot, that was the 2nd outing with the new camcorder and the zoom controls are far more sensitive on the new model which i am still getting use to, i was considering not uploading that shot however due to the fantastic light i felt i should, the tender first shot was included to try and see how much footage i would be able to upload with that type of encoding (Time wise against the max upload limit).

Thanks i know i agree, the HD option is far better than the normal quality. I currently use Corel Videostudio 12 and hmm... the programme says: "HDV 720p - 25p (For PC)" any other than that i wouldn't have a clue as of yet, still trying to get use to all this new stuff. Also i'm currently using a JVC HD10 for the time been.
