    Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone could help me out with a question i had.
I see on the Severn Valley Railway Website That there are two 08 shunters instore at Kidderminster.
    D3802 and 08896.

I'm attending the railway's diesel gala tomorrow and just wondered if anyone knew if these two locos were viewable.

Many Thanks If Anyone Can Help

    YRM

Sorry, only just seen this. I didn't attend but don't think they were (unless someone knows different?)

D3802 and 08896 are currently in store at Kidderminster Carriage Works. Peep Behind the Scenes ("See all the work that goes into running our heritage railway") is on July 16th with access to behind-the-scenes attractions including Kidderminster Carriage Works and Diesel Depot http://www.svr.co.uk/SEItem.aspx?a=50

Not sure if you can make it for this event but it is your best chance of seeing them

    Hope this helps

    Patrick

    Carriage works or Carriage shed?

Ooh. Good point. I'm pretty sure the 08s are in the carriage shed, with 5764. Both the works and shed are open on July 16th and so I would expect them to be viewable.

With a caveat that if arrangements are the same this year as last, then the escorted carriage shed tour only went about half way down. The 08s, the Pannier and so on were in the roped off area at the far end, so it may be a distant view.

They are both heavily robbed for spares and are right at the back of the shed as a source of spares. Probably wont be viewable
