Wash and bush up almost finished ahead of Warley, we will have something new for you all to see. No photos yet, indeed I have yet to see it, but I know that it will be good. http://www.knottycoachtrust.org.uk/index.html

As we warm up ready for the first public runs of the Knotty Heritage train on 26th April it is worth noting that we will soon recieve the first two restored doors for NSR "28".

This first class coach is in store at Cheddleton at the moment but the restoration of the two doors will hopefully stimulate more funds to allow this project to move forward. It is worth noting that the coaches correct identity has been discovered to be 228.

Very successful visit for KCT to CVR, and yes we are looking at a follow up for 2016! This really is one of the more exciting projects in preservation, made even more amazing by the fact it's the dedication of roughly half a dozen volunteers that is seeing this through. Great bunch to work with, and look forward to seeing where CVR can play its part. Though I do have to say, I'd prefer a NSR "B" Class to the "A" Class... :)

I wouldn't mind either way, anything NSR in steam would be great!

The Knotty train and Bellerophon featured extensively in last night's episode of 'The Railways that made Britain' on Channel 5 with Chris Tarrant.

Please keep the updates a-coming. If previous Knotty carriage restorations are anything to go by, this one will be a blinder.

There has been stuff floating around behind the scenes. Lottery funding now obtained for No23, and the team hope to have it ready for the 2019 season.

Prospectus being written for No228, hopefully this will follow not too far behind. Looking forward to seeing it all myself...

    ... ready ... steady ... GO !

updates will be forthcoming, mostly (at least from my point of view) on Ipernity ...

PS. My OH is about to have a bionic (replacement) hip operation, so I will be more off than on-line than usual for a little while.
