I'm coming up from M5 Junction 7 so those roadworks are going to be a real pain for me tomorrow. I'm going to set the alarm for 5:00 and try and set off in good time.

Just heard on radio services suspended between Carlisle and Carstairs. Hope that is resolved before the A1 is in Cumbria. Carlisle Station could be pretty packed if not.

Statesman tour passengers got on the wrong train at Stafford and now being thrown off at Crewe. Luckily for them the other tour is right behind us.

As Al expressed a lack of interest, I was planning on intercepting said Black Pudding as it made its way through in the handkerchief of hope. But like a Wetherspoon's breakfast, high on promise, low on delivery, and consequently, I have the empty stomach of experience... ;)

Off topic, sorry. Talking of black pudding, I had an excellent full English breakfast, served at my seat, on one of Mr Bransons trains ((VTEC) last Tuesday, including splendid black pudding. Even Mrs V (appetite like a bird) demolished the lot including the toast and marmalade. The breakfast beat the hell out of a Wetherspoons offering.
