Road, even if Mainline running of sorts is being considered (which I highly doubt), there's been no mention of the various kit required to do being fitted.

Having run 71 days in traffic on 5 different railways during the last period of its boiler ticket 1300 or 52322 as its currently known has recently passed its 14 monthly boiler exam and is available for traffic as required at Embsay. A programme of work for the loco is taking shape for 2014 and will manifest itself in due course, without wishing to fuel speculation I must add that an emotional return to the ELR is not currently on the cards.

I heard the owner was moving it back to bury and taking up a new role in the loco dept.

I think you'll find the owner has made it very clear what happens to the engine in post #44 , unless of course you are suggesting the owner is being economical with the truth

LMS black might not be quite as attractive as L&Y, but it makes an interesting change as it's not one we often see these days. I hope she gets the chance to run with some matching LMS stock at some point!

Are there any planned running days for her at Embsay, would like a run and it's not too far away for me...?

    Thanks

Oooh that I like!, got a bit bored of her as 1300, 52322 was nice last year, but this a lovely variation, someone get her down the SVR on the LMS rake before its changed.

52322 looked (and sounded) beautiful in her new livery today...

Bleugh. Why paint a loco which is the unique operating LYR loco, and looks splendid in lined LYR livery in a dull livery any loco could wear?

Because he can, and as the owner is entitled to, even though he allegedly prefers LMS livery.

In my opinion BR black is not dull and the owner wanted it in that colour. So I don't see how it is a problem and BR black is the shade as LMS black and LVR black. It is a livery the locomotive during service.

Has the owner stated that he wanted it in BR livery? Since he has stated just 6 posts ago that he prefers it in LMS livery, I would suggest that it is the ELR who have made the change (with the owner's agreement of course).

    I stand to be corrected
