    The Talyllyn Railway continues to invest in the permanent way.


    Today a load of 500 hardwood sleepers was delivered to Wharf. This is part of an £18,000 investment in the Talyllyn Railway’s permanent way. Another 100 sleepers and all the fixings (plates and screws) are expected in the coming weeks. Over the winter months 300 of them will find their way into the running line and the rest will be laid next winter. Why not come along and help?
