Class 56 leading a 37 on stock at Carnforth, Carnforth platform is very busy. Good grief the Colas livery clashes well with WCRC maroon!

Rumoured on the other side that 46115 may do 1 and 8 sept (?? 48151 ticket expires end August??). Anybody know about this? If true, I wonder what will happen re the Buxton Spa. Is Peak Forest a tougher assignment than Blaenau?

I believe that a short extension has been requested to enable the 8F to finish the season. Whether it has been granted I do not know at the moment.

@D7076 Did your source indicate whether the extension also includes the Buxton Spa on 17th September?

I haven't got to grips with these new NR rules during leaf fall season. How many is 46115 allowed without a box on the back? I should think that's the best hope of pure steam considering the hill from Kirkgate to Outwood.

That's assuming, and hoping that the steam section includes the Wakefield loops and isn't just York to Scarborough...

What's the Load limit guide for the Jubilees ?
