Good morning. Does anyone have the times for Flying Scotsman's move from Didcot to West Somerset Railway today? Thank you :)

Has anyone spotted any times for either of these moves yet? I can't find anything in RTT, but maybe that's just me being a klutz?

As far as I've been told it's being dragged in light steam. Given that it's being dragged by Cromwell vice a deisel certainly gives a better image. Whether it has any tests while in London, say on its way back to Didcot, is beyond my resources.

Due to arrive at the centre to collect the King at 1:30, according to Didcot's facebook page. Good job I'm going up to Didcot tomorrow anyway... :)

They are certainly keeping quiet about these moves. Perhaps they are expecting a bloodbath. The GWS at Didcot must be worried. I know I would be. The last time Oliver Cromwell took control of a King it didn't end well for the King!
On a more serious note I couldn't find anything in RTT. Nothing moving from Tyseley or from Didcot. Might be a last minute upload to the system tomorrow. Looks like the move to OOC could be in the evening as the Didcot FB page says 70013 will be visiting for the afternoon from 1.30pm.

This King has already been reduced in height so it should be no problem.

There is also now something going from Southall to Didcot later in the afternoon. Diesel Loco to move 6023 + 70013?

Edit: SUCCESS! Found the movement to OOC on Open Train times. After 19.00:

Looks like it is diesel hauled now.

Good point. I was half asleep this morning when I found the timings and never noticed that the movement was going into Paddington

A friend was at Didcot to see Ollie arrive at lunchtime and confirms this. "The move this evening is to be hauled by Ollie with the diesel on the rear for the drag back from Padd to OOC." Could be a most unusual train, especially if the Railmotor's trailer is included!

Had a very enjoyable afternoon at Didcot. A bonus was the A4 running on the demo line on footplate experience turns. The consist for later is currently 6023, D9516 and 70013's support coach. 70013 currently parked in front of the shed.
