FS arrived Southall just 10 down. This looks like the move to Didcot later today, although not yet activated in RTT: http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/U50627/2017/08/24/advanced

Yes that's what it is, and two good runs to York, the team with 40 are a very enthusiastic bunch, it was great having them on board.

How come the railmotor has to go by road when the rest are going by rail? The railmotor has gone by rail before, including all the way down to Cornwall.

The railmotor was ruled out of gauge towards London when it was found impossible for it to attend the Chinnor and Princes Risborough 60th end of passenger operation gala recently.

Very interested in this move as I am off work this week. Might have to pay a visit to Oxford on Thursday! Although will the movement to OOC be at night?

Any photo evidence that U10511 was just 60009 and PO Brake or were they diesel hauled?

At a guess schedule schedule U10512 was a DB Cargo loco returning to the berthing sidings after delivering 60009 to Didcot GWS.
Have a look at this VSTP schedule which is the light engine Didcot Yard to Southall to collect 60009.

This video shows No93 at 6.09 then again at 6.33 with 66086 attached. The 66 probably brought 60009 + POB down from Southall, but it then took 93 out of DRC.

Now updated on UK steam to show 70013 Tys - Did and then 70013 + 6023 to OOC.

Could this be considered a LE test for 6023? I suspect not but it would be good.
