Attached is a picture which has recently been discovered of 'Jean' (Krauss 6378/1926) at Bellevue Zoo in Belfast in 1936 with driver Joseph Pritchard.

This picture was uncovered by Joseph's granddaughter Helen Bachari while sorting through family photographs. There may be more photos to be uncovered from this source in due course.Hope this is of interest.

Thanks to Helen for allowing the photo to be shared.

Would it be possible to share this with the Heritage Group of the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway Association?

    Hi Duncan,

No problems in sharing the picture. I would respectfully ask that proper credit is given to Helen in any posting. If anyone on the RH&DR Heritage Group has any info relating to Joseph Pritchard, or indeed the loco's time at Bellevue, I would be very pleased to pass this on to Helen.

    Thanks

    Keith

Hi Keith ... I got a huge surprise last night (NZ time) when I was Googling my maternal grandfather's name and came across this forum and the photo of him and 'Jean'. I do have another photo that I'd love to share :)
