Thats because this vehicle was a Bluebell "first refusal", hence it never went on the Bluebell stock list.

That makes more sense. Do you know what it's original identity is?

Indeed it did Peter. However the Bluebell had first choice and did not want it hence it was offered to the MHR.
    Kind regards
    Chris.

Underground '59 stock driving motor car #1030 emerged from one of the Mangapps museum buildings this morning and left for Leavesden Studios, Watford, for use in a new feature film on a WW2 subject. It will return to Mangapps and it's normal use, housing a collection of Underground railwayana, at the end of January. jan 2017 028.JPG

While posting on this thread, I should mention that we at Mangapps have recently disposed of some surplus vans, all of which have found a new home in Kent. They are-

SR PMV S1218S, ventilated vans M501818/WGF40068 and B756620, box van AD47749 and an anonymous ex ICI and ex Army salt van.
The grounded body of SR "Van B" #219 will be leaving for the same destination shortly

Does anyone know where the following two tanker wagons have come from. Both tankers are now at the MHR and I'm led to believe are to be used at steam galas to give extra water capacity at Ropley. The tankers have the following numbers on them DB999101 abd DB999103

    Thanks

According to the Preserved Railway Stocklist.
They have come from Bescot Yard and used to be part of a Drainage Train.

On Monday followed the Bluebells Q for several miles from Chailey til she turned north. Interesting watching the rearwheel steering trailer on the wiggly A272. Downloaded and played the dash-cam, honest m'lud.

I don't normally join the clamours for a photo of this or that, but I'd like to make an exception in this case!
